Creative leadership built through making, managing, and improving.

For more than 25 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of creative design, product development, workflow, and print production—leading teams while remaining closely connected to the work itself.

My Story

From Designer to Creative Operations Leader

I began my career as a graphic designer and grew into a leadership role overseeing the people, processes, and production behind hundreds of consumer products each year.

Over 27 years at TF Publishing, I spent 26 years as Art Director, leading creative teams and helping bring licensed and proprietary products from concept through manufacturing. Along the way, I personally designed more than 2,500 commercial products while developing systems that helped the entire team work more efficiently and consistently.

My role expanded well beyond design—managing priorities, improving workflows, coordinating with sales and production, developing product concepts, working within licensing requirements, and managing relationships with domestic and international print manufacturers.

How I Work

Experience Changes How You See the Work

What I've Learned

After decades of bringing products to market, I've learned that strong creative operations isn't just about making good work. It's about creating an environment where good work can happen consistently.

That means balancing creative ambition with deadlines, production requirements, licensing restrictions, cost, staffing, and the unexpected challenges that inevitably arise.

I believe the best systems support creativity rather than restrict it—and the best leaders know when to provide direction, when to give people ownership, and when to roll up their sleeves and help get the work across the finish line.

WHAT'S NEXT

I’m looking to bring that combination of creative leadership, operational thinking, product development, and hands-on production experience to an organization where I can help creative teams do great work—and build the systems that make great work repeatable.

I’m especially interested in opportunities where I can bring together people, process, and creative execution—helping teams work more efficiently while continuing to deliver thoughtful, high-quality work.
